I met Seth and Alex through my sister, who is is a fellow teacher in Fond du Lac with Seth. We started with a fantastic engagement session that ended in a rainbow last summer, and this summer, a wedding at South Hills, with a gorgeous sunset, rolling beautiful golf club hills, and a rowdy and fun wedding party.
Golf Clubs have different rules about using their grounds during wedding pictures, so make sure if you're a future bride or groom, you ask your on-site coordinate what the rules are. South Hills makes it super easy — they bring you out in golf carts, all ready to go for the wedding party, and bring you to the best and most photographed spots. If I wasn't already familiar with the locations, this would be a huge bonus for a wedding photographer who maybe doesn't know the grounds. They have huge oak trees, a stream running through the property and rolling hills. It's really one of the prettiest golf cubs in Wisconsin, and I loved taking wedding photos there.
Alex and Seth got married on the 10th hold, which is set up high and overlooks the rest of the course. The sun was beating down on them during the ceremony, but as you can see, later in the day, the views with a shady course were spectacular. We even captured a biodegradable confetti exit, which I absolutely love.
Did I mention the food, desserts and reception? Fun and funny toasts, beautiful first dances, a huge variety of cupcakes, and a private champagne toast between bride and groom made this day extra special. Congrats to Alex and Seth!
