I consider it the greatest honor when another photographer selects you for their family photos. Photographers have an eye for quality work, and it really gives me an ego boost when another photographer acknowledges that.
But let me tell you, Nikki's family made it pretty easy. Sometimes photographer kids are difficult to work with because they have been through the photo experience a lot and don't want to play along. But boy, were there two cute girls ready to go! They spun and twirled and cuddled and hugged for me.
The family picked the perfect sunset time which made for this amazing light, and we discovered some incredible color in the local park here in Appleton. Overall, this genuine connection between this family made this session probably one of my favorites ever.
